Service Description

Nurture is Melissa's signature trauma-informed gentle yoga class. This class eliminates the elements of yoga that can often times be sensory activating or triggering for trauma. The lights remain on and don't dim. The heat is low, scents are not used and music is lyric free and not suspenseful. If trauma or fear of sensory activation has kept you from experiencing the beauty of yoga, this class is the perfect way to bring you back to your practice. This class is appropriate for new students, and students without sensory activations or traumas.
